WordPress SEO services
Hours of search work on one WordPress or WooCommerce site each month, against a written list, with a report of what was done and tested. You are sold the work, not a ranking. Month to month.
In short
- A set number of hours each month, spent on a written list you have agreed to.
- A report every month of what was done, what was tested, and what Google's and Bing's own reports show.
- The list can end. When there is nothing left on it that is worth your money, we say so.
- We do not sell links, reviews, articles by the dozen or directory listings.
- No ranking is promised. Nobody can promise one.
This is SEO sold as work. You buy a number of hours each month. They are spent on a written list that you have seen and agreed to, and every month you get a report of what was done, what was tested, and what Google's and Bing's own reports say about your site.
It is for a WordPress or WooCommerce site whose owner wants the site's search problems worked through steadily by someone who knows WordPress, and wants to see what they are paying for.
Who it is for, and who it is not
It suits you if your site has things wrong that a search engine can see: pages that are not indexed and should be, addresses that changed and were never redirected, a sitemap that does not answer, a store whose product pages send Google errors, pages that are slow. That is work with a beginning and an end, and hours are the honest way to sell it.
It does not suit you if what you want is a promise. Google's own page on hiring this kind of help says: "No one can guarantee a #1 ranking on Google." It tells buyers to walk away from anyone who says otherwise. We sell the work and show it to you.
What the hours go to
The list is written first, usually from an audit, and it is yours. A typical one is drawn from these:
- Indexing. Working through what the page indexing report in Search Console says, status by status: pages blocked, pages asking to be left out, pages that redirect, pages that are duplicates of others.
- Addresses. Redirects for addresses that have changed, chains shortened to one hop, and the extra addresses WordPress makes for one piece of content dealt with.
- The sitemap and robots.txt. Kept right as the site changes.
- What the pages say. Titles and descriptions that are missing or doubled, headings, and structured data that matches what is on the page.
- Speed, where it is the problem. Measured before and after on the pages you name, as in our speed optimization.
- For a store. Product data, the addresses that filters and variations make, and what happens to products that are out of stock or gone.
- Reading the reports. Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools, read every month, with anything new that needs attention added to the list.
What you get each month
- The hours, spent on the list. In the order agreed. If something urgent appears, such as a drop in indexed pages, it goes to the top and we tell you.
- A report. What was done, what was tested and what it showed, and what the first-party reports say this month. A figure in it is Google's or Bing's own, with the day it was read. We do not report a score from a tool that is not a search engine's: Google says such tools have no access to how it ranks.
- An honest end. When the list has nothing left on it that is worth your money, we say so, and you can stop. Plans are month to month.
How it works
Step 1: Start with a free diagnosis
Send your site's address through the free diagnosis form. We reply with what we can see from outside and what we would look at first.
Step 2: We agree the list
Usually from an audit. You see the list and its order before any month's hours are spent.
Step 3: We work, and report
Each month's hours go to the list. The report arrives at the end of the month.
Step 4: You decide each month
Carry on, change the order, or stop. There is no minimum term.
What we do not sell, and why
- Links. Buying links to improve a ranking is in Google's spam policies under link spam. Google's advice to site owners is blunter still: you should never have to link to the people doing your SEO.
- Reviews. We do not write them, buy them or reward anyone for one. The FTC's rule on reviews, in force since October 21, 2024, bans fake reviews and paying for reviews that say a particular thing. Google's own policy for Maps bans any reward for a review at all.
- Articles by the dozen. Google's spam policies name making many pages without adding value for readers, whatever tool makes them. A site is better served by a few pages that say something of its own.
- Listings in bulk. No search engine documents that being listed in dozens of directories does anything for a site. We do not sell what we cannot show a source for.
- A ranking, a position or a figure for traffic.
What it does not cover
- Sites that are not on WordPress.
- Work inside your Google or Bing accounts beyond reading them. You keep ownership of every account. We are added as a user.
- Looking after the site. Updates, backups and security are a care plan. The two work together and neither needs the other.

Common questions
How long does SEO take?
Nobody can give you a date. Google's guide for site owners says some changes take effect in a few hours and others can take several months, and suggests waiting a few weeks before judging one. What we can tell you each month is what was done and what the reports show.
How many hours do I need?
It depends on the list. A small site with a handful of indexing problems is a smaller job than a store with thousands of product addresses. The audit tells you which you have. The two sizes of plan and their prices are on this page.
Do unused hours carry over?
No. Time included in a plan is for that month. If a month's list is short, we say so before the month begins.
Can I have this without a care plan?
Yes. And a site on a care plan can add it.
Will you write content for my site?
Not by volume. Within the hours we fix what pages say about themselves, such as a missing title or description, and we will tell you where a page is thin or two pages compete. Writing new pages is quoted as a separate job when you ask for it.
Does this cover AI search?
Being found by an AI assistant starts with the same things: a page that can be crawled, is indexed and may be quoted. Google's own guidance says that work for its AI features is still SEO. The hours cover that ground.
