Platform migrations

Moving a site or a store from one platform to another. Before anything is moved, we tell you in writing what moves by itself and what has to be rebuilt. Every old address is redirected to its new one, and the new site is checked before the domain is changed.

To WordPress

For a site that has outgrown a website builder, or a design that is ready to be built.

  • Wix to WordPress

Wix has no full export, so pages are rebuilt and content carried across, with every old address redirected.

  • Squarespace to WordPress

Squarespace exports pages and one blog in a file WordPress reads. The rest, and the design, is rebuilt.

  • Figma to WordPress

A build, not a move: a WordPress site made from a finished design.

To WooCommerce

For a store that wants to own its software and its data.

  • Shopify to WooCommerce

Products, customers and orders move. The design is rebuilt, and Shopify's addresses are redirected to the new ones.

To Shopify

For a store that would rather not run its own software. We move it there properly.

  • WooCommerce to Shopify

Products, customers and past orders are brought into Shopify by the routes Shopify documents. The store arrives on a Shopify theme you choose.

What every move includes

  • A written list of what moves and what is rebuilt, before you decide
  • Old addresses redirected to the new ones, and checked
  • The new site checked before the domain is changed

A change of platform is quoted in writing, because no two sites are the same size. The assessment that comes before the quote is free, and whether to go ahead is up to you.

Doing the move yourself? The redirect map builder turns your list of old and new addresses into redirect rules, and the redirect checker shows where each old address now leads.

Other moves

On Webflow, Framer, WordPress.com or something not listed here? Tell us what the site is on and where you want it, and we will say whether it is a move we take on.
