WordPress website edits
Small changes to your WordPress site, made for you. New text, a replaced image, a menu item, a form field. Edit time is part of the Care and Business plans, and larger changes are quoted as developer time.
In short
- Small edits come out of a care plan's monthly time. Care has 90 minutes and Business has 3 hours.
- It suits owners who know what should change and would rather not make the change themselves.
- We place the words and images you send. We do not write or design them.
- Larger changes are quoted as developer time before work starts.
You know what needs to change. A phone number is out of date. A banner still promotes last month's event. Someone has left and is still on the team page. None of it is hard, but each one means logging in, finding the right place, and checking the result on a phone.
With website edits, you send us the change and we make it. Edit time is part of the Care and Business plans. A change that is too large for a plan's time is sold as developer time and quoted before work starts. The prices are on this page.
What is included
- Care plan: 90 minutes of fixes and small edits a month, along with the plan's updates, backups, monitoring and security scanning.
- Business plan: 3 hours of fixes and edits a month, with updates tested on a staging copy first.
- Developer time: for a change larger than a plan's time, or if you have no plan. It is sold in blocks and quoted before work starts.
A small edit is a change to what is already on the site. Typical ones are:
- changing text on a page, such as opening hours, contact details or a team bio
- replacing an image with one you send
- adding, removing or reordering menu items
- publishing a post you have written
- adding or removing a field on an existing form
The Essential plan has no edit time.
How it works
Step 1: Send the change
Use the free diagnosis form to tell us which page, what it shows now, and what it should show. Include the new wording in full.
Step 2: We tell you how it fits
A small edit comes out of your plan's monthly time. For a larger change, or if you have no plan, you get a fixed quote first.
Step 3: We make the change
On a plan, the time taken comes off that month's allowance.
Step 4: Check the page
Look at it on a computer and on a phone. If it is not what you asked for, tell us.
What it does not cover
- Writing and design. We place the words and images you send. We do not write copy, take photographs or design graphics.
- New features. A change to how the site works, such as a new kind of page layout or a link to another system, is development. It gets a written quote. See custom development.
- Time beyond the allowance. Unused minutes do not roll over. Work beyond the allowance is charged at the hourly rate and quoted first.

Common questions
How many edits is 90 minutes?
It depends on the edits. The allowance is counted in time, not in the number of requests, and fixes use the same time. Changing a line of text uses far less of it than building a new page.
Do unused minutes carry over?
No. Each month has the plan's allowance, and what is left from the month before does not roll over.
I only need one change. Do I need a plan?
No. A single change can be quoted as developer time. Plans are month to month, and you can cancel any time. The pricing page compares them.
