Terms of service

The terms on which WP Ministry sells care plans, one-time work and search work. What you pay, what you get, how to cancel, what we need from you, and what happens when something goes wrong.

Updated

These are the terms on which WP Ministry sells its services. The prices and what each service includes are on the pricing page; if that page and this one disagree about a price, the pricing page is right.

Who you are dealing with

WP Ministry is run by Gigaverse Global LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, in the United States. It is the company you buy from and the one that takes payment. "We" on this page means that company.

Our address is 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.

Care plans

  • A plan covers one site and is paid by the month or by the year.
  • Month to month. You can cancel at any time and there is no minimum term. The plan runs to the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Your first payment for a care plan is refunded if you ask within 30 days.
  • A plan paid by the year works the same way. The first payment is refunded if you ask within 30 days. After that, a year that has started is not refunded in part: if you cancel, the plan runs to the end of the year you paid for and does not renew.
  • Time included in a plan is for that month and does not carry over.
  • Work beyond what a plan includes is quoted before it starts.

One-time work

  • Every job starts with a diagnosis, which is free: a written cause and a fixed quote.
  • A fix that does not fix it costs nothing.
  • If the same problem comes back within 30 days of a fix, we fix it again at no charge.
  • The fee for a Quick Fix comes off your first payment if you join a care plan within 14 days.
  • Malware removal includes a second clean-up at no charge if the site is infected again within 30 days.

A fix is done when the fault named in the quote no longer happens on your site. The 30 days cover that fault. A different fault is a new job. So is the same fault brought back by a change made after our work, such as a plugin installed, a file edited or the site restored from an older backup. We tell you which it is, and why, before anything is charged.

Some faults are not ours to mend: a server that is down at your hosting company, a domain that has run out, an account your host has suspended. The diagnosis says so, and says who can put it right.

Search work

We sell work on your site, never a result in a search engine. No ranking, position, amount of traffic or mention in an AI answer is promised, by this page or by anyone who writes to you from WP Ministry. What a search engine does with a page is the search engine's decision. Each service's page says what is done and what is not.

What we need from you

To work on your site we need access to it, and sometimes to its hosting account. You confirm that you are allowed to give us that access.

  • You choose how to let us in. The safest way is an administrator account you make for us.
  • You can take our access away at any time. Work stops when you do, and what you have paid for until then is not refunded for that reason.
  • When a job is done or a plan ends, remove the access you gave us.
  • Keep a backup of your own. A care plan that includes backups says so on the pricing page, and says how long they are kept.
  • Answer our questions about the site. A job that waits on an answer from you waits.

The content of your site is yours, and so is responsibility for it: that you have the right to publish it, and that it is lawful where you publish it.

What we are not responsible for

  • Software we did not write. WordPress, your theme, your plugins and the services your site connects to are made by other people. We fix faults in how they run on your site. We do not answer for a fault their makers have to mend, or for a change in one of them after our work.
  • Your hosting. Speed, uptime and backups at your hosting company are in its hands and under its terms.
  • Data lost where there was no backup. If your site had no backup when a fault destroyed something, we recover what can be recovered and cannot promise the rest.
  • Losses that follow from a fault. We are not liable for lost sales, lost profit, or any other loss that follows indirectly from a fault or from our work.

Our total liability to you for a job or a plan is limited to what you paid us for it in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Nothing on this page limits a liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or takes away a right the law of your country gives a consumer.

Paying

  • Payment is taken by Stripe, in US dollars. We never see or hold your card number.
  • A plan renews on the same day each month, or each year, until you cancel.
  • To cancel, change your card or see your invoices, go to your plan, or write to us.
  • If a payment for a renewal fails, the plan ends at the end of the period that was paid for unless the payment is made.
  • Prices are shown without tax. Where we are required to collect a tax on your purchase, it is shown before you pay.

Existing subscribers

If you joined on an earlier price list, you keep the price you pay now until you choose to move to a current plan.

The referral program

The program has its own terms, on its own page. Where they say something different from this page about a reward, they are right.

Changes to these terms

When these terms change, this page changes and its date is updated. A one-time job is done on the terms that stood on the day it was quoted. A change applies to a plan from its next renewal after that date, and you can cancel before then.

The law that applies

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Wyoming, in the United States, and a dispute about them is heard in the courts of Wyoming. If you are a consumer, this does not take away a right to bring a claim where you live that the law of your country gives you.
