This page says what personal information wpministry.co collects, what it is used for and what you can ask us to do with it.
Who is responsible
wpministry.co is run by Gigaverse Global LLC, a company registered in Wyoming, in the United States. It decides what is collected here and why, and it is who you are writing to when you write to WP Ministry.
Our address is 1309 Coffeen Ave STE 1200, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA. To write to us about privacy, use the contact form or write to that address.
The company is registered in the United States. The team that reads and answers your messages works from our operations office in Asia. What you send us is kept on a server in the United States and read in Asia, so it leaves your own country unless you live in one of those places.
What we collect when you write to us
When you send the diagnosis form, the contact form or a request for a migration assessment, we keep:
- your name and email address;
- your site's address, if you give it;
- your message;
- for a migration, the platform you are moving from, the one you are moving to and the size of the site;
- which service you were looking at, and the page the form was sent from;
- a referral code, if you asked for one to be used;
- the sentence shown under the form that says what we will use your details for, so there is a record of what you agreed to.
We do not keep your IP address. We keep a scrambled value made from it, which cannot be turned back into the address, to limit how many forms one visitor can send in an hour and in a day.
We use these details to reply to you about your request, and for nothing else. Your message is mailed to the people on our team who answer, and our reply comes to you by email.
What we collect when you browse
Your browser gives our server your IP address so that a page can be sent back, as it does with every site. The site's own code does not write it down. The site sets no cookies of its own, and nothing that identifies you is kept unless you agree to measurement.
If you say yes to measurement, the site notes, for that visit only, the page you arrived on, the site you came from, any campaign tags in the link you followed, and up to ten pages you looked at. If you then send a form, those notes are kept with it, so we can tell which pages lead people to write to us. If you say no, a form you send carries only the page it was sent from.
A yes also loads Google Analytics. What it sets in your browser, what it is sent and how long Google keeps it are on the cookies page, with everything else this site keeps in your browser.
What we collect when you use a tool or the search box
Most of the tools on this site run in your browser and send nothing. Each tool's page says which kind it is.
A tool that checks an address asks our server to request that address. What you typed and what came back are not kept and not written to a log. We count each use against the same kind of scrambled value described above, by the hour and by the day, so that one visitor cannot use our server to flood someone else's.
What you type into the search box is sent to this site to find pages, and is not kept.
When you become a customer
Payment is taken by Stripe, on Stripe's own page. Stripe collects your name, your email address, your card and the billing details the card needs, and we never see or hold the card number.
Of a purchase we keep Stripe's reference numbers for you and for the payment, what you bought and for how much, whether it was paid, refunded or canceled, and a scrambled value made from your email address. We also keep a code Stripe makes from the card, which is not the card's number and cannot be turned back into it. It is used for one thing: to tell when a referral reward is claimed on a purchase paid for with the referrer's own card.
To look after your site we keep your name and email address, your site's address, the plan it is on, and a record of each piece of work we do for it and how long it took. That record is what your reports are written from.
We also record that we have a way in to your site, of what kind, and from which day to which day. We do not record the way in itself: this site has no place where a password, a key or a sign-in link could be kept, and none is kept in it. The safest way to let us in is an administrator account you make for us, which you can delete whenever you like.
When you join the referral program
We keep your name and email address, your referral code, the day you agreed to the program's terms, and a list of what your referrals earned and what was paid or credited to you. If you are paid in money, we also keep whether you chose PayPal or Wise, the account address to pay, and the day we received a tax form from you if one was needed.
Your own page in the program shows what you earned and when. It shows nothing about the people you referred.
Who handles it for us
We do not sell personal information, and we do not give it to anyone for advertising.
These companies handle it so that the site and the service can work:
| Company | What it does for us | What it handles |
|---|---|---|
| Hostinger | Runs the server the site and its database are on, in the United States. | Everything this page says we keep. |
| Resend | Sends the email the site itself sends: the note that your message arrived, the notice of it to our team, and the links of the referral program. | Your name, your email address and your message. |
| Provides our team's mailboxes. | Your message, and our correspondence with you. | |
| Google Analytics, only after you say yes to measurement. | What the cookies page lists. | |
| Stripe | Takes payment and runs your account for a plan. | What you enter at checkout. |
| PayPal or Wise | Pays a referral partner, by whichever the partner chose. | The partner's name, account address and the amount. |
We would also hand information over if a court or the law required it of us.
How long we keep it
- A message you sent us, and what was kept with it, is kept while we are working on your request and afterwards as a record of what was asked and answered. No date is set on which it is deleted by itself. It is deleted when you ask.
- A customer's record of work is kept for as long as you are a customer and afterwards as the record of what was done, until you ask us to delete it.
- Records of a sale are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires a business to keep them, including after you ask us to delete the rest.
- The referral program's list of what was earned and paid is a financial record and is kept the same way.
- The counts that limit forms and tools are made by the hour and by the day, and carry no name, address or message.
- What Google Analytics holds is on the cookies page.
What you can ask for
You can ask us:
- for a copy of what we hold about you;
- to correct it;
- to delete it;
- to stop using it, or to use it only for something you name;
- for a copy in a form you can take to another company.
Write to us through the contact form from the email address you used, so we can tell the request is yours. We answer within 30 days. There is no charge, and asking changes nothing about the service you get.
You can take back a yes to measurement at any time: press "Change measurement choice" at the foot of any page.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or California
This section says how we work. It is not legal advice, and it does not take away any right the law of your country gives you.
Why we use what we collect. We use what you send in a form because you asked us for an answer. We use a customer's details to do the work that was bought, and we keep records of a sale because the law requires it. We measure visits only with your yes, which you can take back.
Where it goes. Your information is kept in the United States and read by our team in Asia. We send it there because you asked us for something we cannot do otherwise.
Complaints. If you live in the European Union or the United Kingdom and think we have handled your information wrongly, you can complain to the data protection authority of your country. We would like the chance to put it right first.
California. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it for advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of. You will not be treated differently for making any request on this page.
Changes to this page
When what we collect changes, this page changes with it and its date is updated.
