WordPress Website Edits — Content Changes Made for You
You know what needs to change on your website. A phone number that is outdated. A banner that needs to promote next month’s event instead of last month’s. A team member who has left and needs to be removed from the about page. A new menu item that needs to be added. A form field that needs to be updated. These are small tasks, but they add up — and for many business owners, logging into WordPress, finding the right page, making the change correctly, and verifying it looks right on mobile is more hassle than it should be.
WP Ministry’s website edits service takes these tasks off your plate entirely. Submit a request describing what you need changed, and our team handles it — typically within the same business day. No need to learn the WordPress editor. No need to worry about accidentally breaking something. No need to wait for your developer to find time between larger projects.
What Counts as a Website Edit
Our website edits service covers tasks that typically take 30 minutes or less per individual request. These are content and configuration changes — not development projects. Here are common examples of what we handle:
Text updates. Changing copy on any page — headlines, paragraphs, contact information, business hours, pricing details, team bios, product descriptions. If the text already exists on a page and needs to be changed, this is a standard edit.
Image swaps. Replacing an existing image with a new one you provide. Updating a hero banner, swapping a team headshot, changing a product photo, replacing a logo. We handle proper sizing, compression, and alt text for SEO.
Menu changes. Adding new items to your navigation menu, removing outdated links, reorganising menu structure, adding dropdown submenus, or linking to newly created pages.
New basic pages. Creating a simple new page with text content, images, and standard formatting. Examples include a new location page, a holiday announcement, a new service offering, or a landing page for a specific campaign.
Blog post publishing. If you write your content but do not want to deal with the WordPress editor, send us the text and images and we will format, optimise, and publish the post with proper headings, categories, tags, and a featured image.
Form adjustments. Adding or removing fields from an existing contact form, updating email recipients for form notifications, changing form labels, or adding a new simple contact form to a page.
Plugin configuration. Installing and configuring simple plugins — a social media feed widget, a Google Maps embed, a cookie consent banner, or a basic analytics snippet. Installation of plugins that require complex setup or custom integration may fall under custom development instead.
CSS adjustments. Minor visual tweaks — changing a font colour, adjusting spacing, hiding an element, changing a button style, or fixing a mobile display issue caused by a theme update.
WooCommerce content edits. Updating product descriptions, prices, shipping information, category names, or coupon codes. Adding new simple products with text and images you provide. For complex WooCommerce changes (custom checkout flows, new payment gateways, bulk product imports), see our WooCommerce maintenance service or custom development.
How It Works
Step 1: Submit your request. Describe the change you need through our support portal. Be as specific as possible — include the page URL, the exact text to change, and any new images or files. Screenshots are always helpful.
Step 2: We review and implement. Our team reviews your request, makes the change, and verifies it looks correct on both desktop and mobile. If anything about your request is unclear, we will ask for clarification before making changes — we never guess.
Step 3: You verify. We notify you when the edit is live. If it is not exactly what you wanted — if the wording needs adjusting, if the image needs to be positioned differently — tell us and we will revise until you are satisfied. There is no limit on revisions for a single edit request.
Turnaround Time
Most edit requests are completed within the same business day for Pro plan subscribers and above. Simple edits (text changes, image swaps) often take less than an hour from submission to completion. More involved edits (new pages, form modifications) may take up to 24 hours.
If you have a time-sensitive edit — a price that needs to change before a sale goes live, an error on your homepage that needs immediate correction — mark the request as urgent and our team will prioritise it.
Website Edits by Plan Level
Starter ($35/month): Website edits are not included in the Starter plan. Starter focuses on core maintenance — updates, backups, security, and monitoring. If you need occasional edits without upgrading, our one-time fix service can handle individual requests.
Pro ($79/month): Minor content edits included. Each request should be completable in under 30 minutes. This covers the majority of day-to-day content maintenance needs for most business websites.
Business ($149/month): Unlimited content edits. Submit as many requests as you need — there is no monthly cap. Each individual task should still be under 30 minutes, but there is no limit on the number of tasks.
WooCommerce ($249/month): Unlimited content edits plus WooCommerce-specific content updates — product listings, category pages, pricing, and store configuration changes.

When an Edit Becomes a Development Project
There is a clear line between a content edit and a development project. Content edits change what is already there — text, images, configurations. Development projects change how things work or build something new.
If you need a custom page layout that your theme does not support, a new plugin built for a specific function, a theme modification that changes how your site behaves, a complex API integration, or a multi-step form with conditional logic and custom processing — that is a development project, and our custom WordPress development service is the right fit.
Not sure which category your request falls into? Submit it as an edit request. If it turns out to require development work, our team will let you know and provide a quote — no surprises.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is there a limit on how many edits I can submit per month?
On the Pro plan, there is no hard monthly limit, but each request should be a task completable in under 30 minutes. If you have ongoing, high-volume edit needs (multiple requests daily), the Business or WooCommerce plan with unlimited edits is the better fit. On the Business and WooCommerce plans, there is truly no limit — submit as many requests as you need.
Can you make edits to pages built with Elementor or Divi?
Yes. Our team is experienced with all major page builders including Elementor, Divi, Beaver Builder, WPBakery, and the native Gutenberg block editor. We make edits using whatever builder your pages are built with, maintaining the existing design and layout.
What if I need the same change made across many pages?
Bulk changes — updating a phone number across 30 pages, adding a disclaimer to every blog post, changing a footer element site-wide — count as a single edit request if the change is identical across all pages. We use bulk editing tools to apply repetitive changes efficiently.
Can I schedule edits in advance?
Yes. If you need a banner to change on a specific date, a page to go live at a certain time, or seasonal content to be swapped on a schedule, let us know the timing and we will execute at the specified date and time.
Stop Wrestling With the WordPress Editor
Your time is worth more than figuring out why the Gutenberg editor is not saving your changes, why your image looks blurry on mobile, or where that menu setting is hiding. Submit a request, go back to running your business, and check back when we notify you it is done.
